Hello there and welcome to another season of dance! I’ve got lots of information and dates I wanted to share with you. I know all of you are busy so I would like to get you these dates for your calendar.
Sweater Weather is coming- Thank goodness! I am currently collecting sweatshirt orders. They will be $30 and added to the parent portal. All orders are dues by September 16th and should arrive by early October.
We are excited to announce our annual Winter Dance Showcase for 2022! It will be held at SPARD on Long street on December 10th & 11th.. It is an informal showing of what the dancers have learned so far in the year. There will be a $30.00 costume fee per child for each class they are in. Fees will post October 1st and are due by October 15th. Costumes will be ordered at that time and are non-refundable once ordered. Please fill out this Google form to let us know if you are participating or not. This form is due September 30th.
Spacing Rehearsal:
Friday December 9th
Level 1: 4:30-5:15
Level 2: 5:15-6:00
Level 3: 6:00-6:45
Level 4: 6:45-7:45
Performances:
There are two shows in which all dancers will be performing.
Saturday, December 10th @ 6PM
Sunday, December 11th @ 6PM
Several of our students will be performaning in Ballet Fronteir’s “The Nutcracker” Thanksgiving weekend. It is a wonderful family experience to kick off the Holiday season! The performances are at the Granbury Opera House and tickets will go on sale soon! Below is the link for tickets when they go on sale.
The Stephenville Chamber of Commerce puts on the Holly Jolly Christmas Festival each year. They have asked us to perform again. I don’t have any further information yet, just the date. It will be held on Monday, December 12th. Once I have more information I will get that to you asap. The entire studio will not be p
The United Way will be hosting the Light up the Night Christmas Festival again this year and has asked us to perform. That date is Saturday, December 17th. When I have further information on which classes will be performing I’ll send information out ASAP. The entire studio will not be performing, only a few classes.
. Dancers can take workshop classes in Ballet, Jazz, Contemporary, Musical Theatre, Tap, and Hip Hop are presented in a positive and motivational learning environment. The event is a fantastic opportunity for young dancers to work with professionals in the entertainment industry and for teachers to take home new choreography and music. This one of the dance highlights of the year! I hope you can join us :)
Cost for dancers and age groups are as follows:
Ages 5-7- Mini $170
Ages 7-10 - Junior $270
Ages 11-14 - Teen $270
Ages 15 & Up - Senior $270
